Michel Moortgat
CEO, Duvel Moortgat

After a great and inspiring event in October where Anton Godschalk from LambWeston Meijer explained us how their company has reacted to the disruptions in their Supply Chains due to the recent and many issues around the globe. Disruptions that impacted the very core of the products they manufacture .

We are more than thrilled and enthusiastic to have Michel Moortgat, CEO Duvel Moortgat as our keynote speaker on: The challenges of a 150-year old family business in a changing brewing world.

In fact there is almost no need to introduce Michel Moortgat and the brewery. The history of Duvel Moortgat is a history of respect for tradition and family values. Today, the fourth generation of the Moortgat family continues the legacy of their ancestors, founder Jan-Leonard Moortgat and his two sons, Albert and Victor. Duvel Moortgat counts ten breweries in five countries, selling 20 brands and is active in over 60 countries.

Quality, know-how and pioneering play a key role. The aim is to offer the consumer top quality beers. The brewing method, the motivated and creative staff, the raw materials, the partners, the best facilities and techniques… everything contributes to the high quality.  Combined with innovation, entrepreneurship, respect for the planet and the specific contribution of each worker, the company develops a series of fantastic beers.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to our next event that will take place, again physically at the Van Der Valk Hotel, Akkerhage 10, 9000 Gent on December 1.
